Sharon Nolt, Senior Associate

Sharon heads up Merger & Acquisition Consulting Services at Cathedral and has been involved in dozens of transactions in the last five years for companies with revenues from $100,000 to $30M. These transactions span a breadth of industries including online retail, real estate, travel services, restaurants, salons, manufacturing, technology, and healthcare. She also services our national client base which reaches from California to Florida. As a QuickBooks expert, she quickly diagnoses problems and assists small businesses in thinking through their bookkeeping and financial system challenges.

Prior to joining Cathedral Consulting Group in 2007, Sharon worked in various positions at The King’s College in New York City including office administration for the Student Development Department and as Senior Academic Advisor for Student Services. Sharon received her Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude in business management from The King’s College. Her prior work experience also includes positions in finance, payroll, events coordination, program direction and teaching for a variety of nonprofit organizations. Her passion for helping businesses grow and succeed was borne from her work with several small businesses and with a start-up on-line business.

Sharon grew up near Lancaster, PA, but moved to Brooklyn, NY, in 2001 to invest several years in volunteer program development related to young people in the community. She also served as a volunteer director for a summer Girl’s Camp for ten years and as treasurer for her local church for five years. Sharon enjoys sports, reading, cooking, piano and travel including living in Peru for two months in 2004.
